What Pump Dry Run means
Pump dry run.
Home step: With the boiler off and the system cold, fill (re-pressurise) the system to 1.0 bar using the pressure gauge behind the drop-down door. Bleed the radiators, then refill the system to 1.0 bar. Then press the restart button.
Gas Safe registered engineer: Contact your installer or a Gas Safe registered engineer if the fault persists after these steps, if you cannot re-pressurise the system, or if the pressure keeps dropping (this can mean a water leak).
A boiler fault code alone is not a gas or carbon-monoxide emergency. If you smell gas, a CO alarm sounds, or someone has possible carbon-monoxide symptoms, leave and call 0800 111 999 from outside.
