What Overheat Lockout means
Overheat lockout.
Home step: With the boiler off and the system cold, follow the guide to check and restore system pressure, check that radiator and boiler valves are open, and restart the boiler.
Gas Safe registered engineer: Contact the installer if the fault persists after the guide actions.
A boiler fault code alone is not a gas or carbon-monoxide emergency. If you smell gas, a CO alarm sounds, or someone has possible carbon-monoxide symptoms, leave and call 0800 111 999 from outside.
