A boiler fault code alone is not a gas or carbon-monoxide emergency. If you smell gas, a CO alarm sounds, or someone has possible carbon-monoxide symptoms, leave and call 0800 111 999 from outside.

Safe check: Check the condensate pipe for blockages and check whether other gas appliances work. If none work, check the gas supply at the meter and any pre-payment credit.

Gas Safe registered engineer: Contact Ideal or a Gas Safe registered engineer if the boiler still fails to operate after the guide checks.
