A boiler fault code alone is not a gas or carbon-monoxide emergency. If you smell gas, a CO alarm sounds, or someone has possible carbon-monoxide symptoms, leave and call 0800 111 999 from outside.

Safe check: Check system pressure is between 1 and 1.5 bar and re-pressurise using section 3 of the guide if needed.

Gas Safe registered engineer: Contact Ideal or a Gas Safe registered engineer if the boiler still fails to operate after the guide action.
