What EA means
The manual associates the EA fault with no or low gas supply, a blocked condensate outlet, or a blocked flue outlet.
Safe check
Contact your gas supplier if there is no or low gas supply. If it is safe, check only an accessible condensate outlet for blockage or ice and the flue outlet for damage or blockage. Press reset briefly once as the manual directs.
When to contact an engineer
Contact Worcester or arrange a Gas Safe registered engineer if one reset does not clear the fault or the alert returns.
Safety notice
A boiler fault code alone is not a gas or carbon-monoxide emergency. If you smell gas, a CO alarm sounds, anyone feels unwell, or there is an unsafe flame, leave and call 0800 111 999 from outside.
