Note the code shown on the display. You can try one reset using the boiler's reset button. If the code returns or won't clear, stop and contact a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not open the boiler casing, adjust it or keep resetting it.
When to contact an engineer
If A20 returns after one reset, or won't clear, contact a Gas Safe registered engineer. Do not reset it again.
Safety notice
A boiler fault code alone is not a gas or carbon-monoxide emergency. If you smell gas, a CO alarm sounds, anyone feels unwell, or there is an unsafe flame, leave and call 0800 111 999 from outside.
