What Overheat means
The display message is “Overheat”.
Safe check
With the boiler off and the system cold, follow the guide to check and restore system pressure, check that radiator and boiler valves are open, and restart the boiler.
When to contact an engineer
Contact the installer if the fault persists after the guide actions.
Safety notice
A boiler fault code alone is not a gas or carbon-monoxide emergency. If you smell gas, a CO alarm sounds, anyone feels unwell, or there is an unsafe flame, leave and call 0800 111 999 from outside.
