What F22 means
F22 indicates low water pressure in the installation.
Safe check
Use the filling tap under the boiler to bring pressure to 0.8–1.2 bar, following the user instructions. Do not continue if you are unsure of the filling procedure.
When to contact an engineer
Pressure loss is frequent or the code remains; arrange a Gas Safe registered installer.
Safety notice
A boiler fault code alone is not a gas or carbon-monoxide emergency. If you smell gas, a CO alarm sounds, anyone feels unwell, or there is an unsafe flame, leave and call 0800 111 999 from outside.
