What E133 means
E133 indicates that ignition or flame establishment was unsuccessful and the boiler has locked out.
Safe check
Check the display and follow the user manual for one reset only. Do not remove the casing or repeat resets when the code returns.
When to contact an engineer
The code returns, the boiler locks out again, or there is a second fault code.
Safety notice
A boiler fault code alone is not a gas or carbon-monoxide emergency. If you smell gas, a CO alarm sounds, anyone feels unwell, or there is an unsafe flame, leave and call 0800 111 999 from outside.
