What 10 means
Code 10 indicates that primary system pressure is low.
Safe check
Only if there is no visible leak and you are confident the pressure loss is not due to a leak, follow Alpha’s homeowner pressure guidance to repressurise. If you are unsure, contact a Gas Safe registered engineer.
When to contact an engineer
Do not repressurise if you can see a leak or are unsure of the cause; arrange help from a Gas Safe registered engineer.
Safety notice
A boiler fault code alone is not a gas or carbon-monoxide emergency. If you smell gas, a CO alarm sounds, anyone feels unwell, or there is an unsafe flame, leave and call 0800 111 999 from outside.
